Russian Tea Cakes

1 cup butter

1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar

1 tsp real vanilla

3/4 cup pecans

dash of salt

2 1/4 cups sifted flour

Cream together butter & sugar. Add vanilla, nuts & flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape into small balls 3/4 to 1 inch in size. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350-degree oven for 25-30 minutes. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Twice.
