Poppy Seed Salad Dressing

submitted by Susan Kleinschmidt   6 tsp. sugar 2/4 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. poppy seed 1 1/2 tsp. onion grated 3/4 cup salad oil 1/4 cup vinegar Mix above ingredients together. Add salad oil and vinegar. Mix well. Use as spinach salad dressing or coleslaw dressing.

Mike’s Marvelous Muffins

  submitted by Mike Briggs 4 1/2 cups Quaker Oat Bran Cereal 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped 2 1/2 cups skim milk 4 bananas, very ripe 4 egg whites 4 tsp. olive oil 4 tsp. honey   Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix milk, bananas, egg whites, oil and honey in a blender. After blending, add nuts and blend a little more. Add to dry ingredients and mix. Line muffin pan with paper baking cups and fill them with the batter. Bake for 17 minutes.

Cinnamon Bubble Bread

submitted by Madeline Hamilton 12 frozen biscuits, thawed 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 cup butter, melted   Preheat over to 350 degrees. Spray a 10-inch bundt cake pan with cooking spray. Cut each dough piece into 4 smaller pieces. In a large zip lock bag combine sugar & cinnamon, set aside. Melt butter in a small bowl in the microwave. Dip biscuit pieces in butter and place in ziplock bag, several at a time. Seal & shake to coat dough evenly. Layer biscuit dough pieces evenly into bundt pan. Repeat with remaining dough pieces. Bake 30-35 minutes or …

Honey Citrus BBQ Chicken

8 skinless chicken breast halves 1 cup ketchup 1 6 oz can frozen lemonade 2 tsp. honey 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce 1/4 cup yellow mustard 2 tsp. olive oil 2 tsp. dried onion, minced Marinate chicken in the last 4 ingredients for 2 hours. Grill over low fire for 20-30 minutes. turning occasionally. Combine ketchup, honey and lemonade. Dip chicken into mixture and grill an additional 15 minutes, turning and basting frequently. Serves 8.

Applesauce Pork Loin

1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. vegetable oil 1 cup applesauce 3 tsp. dijon mustard 1 tsp. honey 3 fresh rosemary sprigs Sprinkle roast with salt & pepper. Brown roast on all sides in oil. Combine applesauce, mustard & honey. Spread over the roast. Top with Rosemary. Bake in 350-degree oven for 1 hour & 45 minutes to 2 hours & 30 minutes until cooked.
