Chocolate Fudge Pie

Share this:

A super rich pie with a great texture, similar to pecan pie without the pecans.

2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup butter cut into pieces

4 large eggs (lightly beaten)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 dash salt

3 tbsp. light corn syrup

1 whole unbaked pie crust

Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat.

In a separate mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and corn syrup. Mix well with whisk until blended. Add melted chocolate mixture and whisk until blended.

Pour into the unbaked pie crust and bake in 375 degree oven 30-40 minutes until center is set.
