Timeless Design in Sumner County Jennifer Jones Designs

Wonderful new build in Sumner County, with an unconventional twist.

Timeless and non traditional co-mingle. Clients retired to middle

Tennessee, from a cold climate and asked for a blend in design.

Bold color palette with lighting fixtures from Visual Comfort, added

wool area rugs in neutrals to merge with traditional Persian rugs in the

open concept. Museum quality art and collections along with  historic

furniture pieces, co-mingle with contemporary. New and old Baker pieces

define living areas. There are new draperies in neutrals with complimentary

tape trims…The puppy “Pierre” loves looking out the windows so we opted for

Roman style shades.

New custom built library with Nantucket woven wool striped wall to wall

rug, a new sitting room with a Baker tufted clean line sofa and Charles

Stewart matching chairs.  Contemporary Curry lamps round out the space.

The overall impression is warmth in the cool winter months and the rich

blues and creams for diversity in the summer months.
