Highlights: Colorful, comfortable and fun. Perfect room for family activities. Cuddle lounge sectional in white inside-out fabric. Aruba blue-green walls, large pink vinyl tufted ottoman. Bold tropical floral draperies. Teal blue swivel chairs for viewing the TV and playing games.
Design Solutions Provided: Creating a floor plan first, then deciding on furniture pieces. The husband requested swivel chairs (his favorite chair) in this room so they could easily have a conversation, watch tv or play video games. We chose a sectional that has a cuddle lounge piece. Fabrics were inside out brand for clean-ability. This room opens to the pool so this was a must. Wall color chosen is a beautiful Aruba Blue-Green. On the trey ceiling is white car siding and the border of the ceiling is a high gloss deeper shade of the wall color. This all coordinated with the beautiful quartz counter and backsplash in the wet bar area. Hot pink on the large cocktail ottoman is a vinyl. (She wanted to add pink for all of the daughters-in-law). The drapery fabric was the main inspiration for all of the exotic color in this room. Result was a big hit for all. The boys and their wives spent a lot of time over the holidays in this room. (It’s soundproof too for homeowners sanity).
