Easy to make recipe that’s great for the beginning baker. Make them with your entire family the kids can help roll them in the powdered sugar. Recipe by Mrs. Walter Benz .

1 cup butter

1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar

1 tsp real vanilla

3/4 cup pecans

dash of salt

2 1/4 cups sifted flour

Cream together butter & sugar. Add vanilla, nuts & flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape into small balls 3/4 to 1 inch in size. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350-degree oven for 25-30 minutes. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Twice.
