Celebrating its 29th year, the Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville will take place at the Music City Center February 1 – 3. This year’s headliner will be GRAMMY® award-winning superstar Faith Hill, with her design team, architect Bobby McAlpine and designer Ray Booth. They will share their experience of building an island paradise in a panel discussion moderated by Leslie Newsom Rascoe, MILIEU design director. Returning to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show scheduled Thursday, March 1, through Sunday, March 4, 2018.     The four-day, indoor show will include live garden displays, lectures, vendors, floral designs, and special programing, including the popular Tennessee Wine Festival on Saturday afternoon. In the Garden: Historic Drought of Fall

Beginning in mid-July 2016 and lasting until late December, Middle Tennessee experienced a historic drought. Many yards in the Nashville area did not receive a drop of rain for 4 months. It was so bad that, while doing excavation work in November, our staff dug to 36 inches before we found any moisture in the soil.
