Fudge

Share this:

This is a super easy to make recipe that my Mom made since I was a little girl. It’s great for holiday gifts or for your family.

4 ½ cups sugar

1 can evaporated milk

½ lb butter

3 packages semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 8 oz. jar marshmallow creme

1 tbsp. vanilla

2 cups chopped nuts (if desired)

Combine sugar, milk and butter in a large sauce pan. Place over medium heat, stir until mixture begins to boil. Cook for about 8 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and nuts. Pour into well buttered swallow pans and chill until firm. Cut into small pieces. Makes about 5 lb. of fudge.
