Nana’s Cucumber Salad

2 medium cucumbers peeled and thinly sliced

1 medium white onion thinly sliced & separated into rings

1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/2 cup cider vinegar

2 tsp. dry mustard

1 tsp. dill chopped

1/2 cup sugar



Head cider vinegar and 1/4 cup water to boiling. Add the dry mustard, sugar, salt & pepper to the vinegar/water mixture and mix well. Bring entire mixture to a boil again. Place the sliced cucumbers, onions and dill into a large bowl. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers. Cover and refrigerate, preferably overnight.
