Grandma’s Chicken Casserole

1  1/2 cups minute rice

2/3 cup sherry (or dry wine)

1 can cream of celery soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 package of dry onion soup mix

 

Butter bottom of baking dish. Mix all ingredients together & spread over bottom of the pan. Place uncooked chicken pieces on top. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350-degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
