HBAMT Home Show Slated January 13-15 If you’re considering remodeling or redecorating your home, or would just like to see what’s new in home improvement, the HBAMT’s Home Show slated January 13-15 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is a great place to start. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 per person and children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Pecan Pie for the Holidays This pie continues to earn accolades long after my mother wrote the recipe down for me. It’s easy and delicious – enjoy! 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup dark corn syrup (blue label Karo) 1/4 tsp. sale 1 tbsp. flour 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. melted margarine 1 1/4 cup pecan halves Beat sugar, syrup, salt, flour, and eggs together until just mixed.
