Marketplace Events taps Nashville for new home show Market
The Nashville Home + Remodeling Expo, an inaugural event for the Nashville market, is coming to the heart of downtown in early 2017. Slated at the Music City Center on March 10-12, the home show will feature exhibits, high-profile industry personalities, and the latest trends in home improvement categories. Look for exhibitors featuring remodeling, kitchen and bath, windows, flooring, and more that will pique interests and spark imaginations.
Home enthusiasts will be able to observe, compare, and gather thousands of first-to-market products at incredible prices while connecting with knowledgeable and reliable experts. Visitors will also learn how to easily touch up an outdated kitchen, bathroom, or family room.
The home show is brought to Nashville by Marketplace Events, which produces 51 shows annually in 23 markets. Collectively the events attract 14,000 exhibitors, 1.5 million attendees and another 1.5 million unique web visitors annually.
“We are excited to bring our core home show to the ever-growing and changing Nashville market,” says Laura Groninger, group manager at Marketplace Events. “As the largest producer of home shows in North America, we attract thousands of unique, qualified attendees looking for advice, solutions, and new products for their home improvement needs.”
HGTV’s Listed Sisters and Troy Dean Shafer of DIY Network’s Nashville Flipped will appear as special guests on the main stage.
Identical twins Alana and Lex LeBlanc are stars of the HGTV show Listed Sisters, and the two are continuously discovering and changing Nashville’s real estate market. With realtor Alana’s expertise and knowledge of the housing market and designer Lex’s eye for creative style, these sisters help clients renovate their old home for resale while simultaneously helping them find their new dream home. The sisters will appear on Friday and Saturday.
Shafer is a Nashville-based contractor who hosts “Nashville Flipped” on DIY Network and will appear at the show on Sunday. He and his team refurbish historic Nashville homes to their original state, adding the team’s own style, beauty, and modernization. Prior to renovating a home, Shafer extensively researches its history and heritage, incorporating his findings into the finished product.
Another noted attraction at the all-new Nashville show is the Tiny Home Village, coordinated by Dale Geist of Tiny House Roadshow. Five tiny homes will be constructed inside the exhibit hall and completely decorated—inside and out—with local landscapers adding the finishing touches around the tiny homes.
Marketplace Events has chosen Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville as the 2017 non-profit partner. The show will educate visitors about the mission and purpose of Habitat for Humanity and highlight some of the unique finds of Habitat’s ReStores, which are home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, and home accessories at a fraction of the retail price.
“We have an extensive relationship with Habitat for Humanity affiliates across North America and are thrilled to be partnering with the Nashville team,” says Groninger. “Established about three decades ago, Habitat of Greater Nashville has built or recycled more than 1,060 homes and served more than 2,600 families. We are excited to continue this rewarding, timeless relationship with Habitat in a new market.”
More than 15,000 visitors are expected at the inaugural expo, looking for information and inspiration as well as helpful guidance, solutions, and inventive products. There is still time to become an exhibitor of the 2017 Nashville Home + Remodeling Expo, so don’t miss the opportunity to reach potential home buyers or renovators in a dynamic face-to-face environment.
