Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

by Mrs. Elaine Ahlgrim 3 oz package of strawberry Jello 10 oz fresh sliced strawberries 1 tbsp sugar 10 inch angel food cake torn in pieces (you can use a store bought angel food cake) ½ pint whipping cream Dissolve Jello in 1 ¼ cups boiling water. Stir in strawberries, and sugar. Let cool until it begins to thicken. Set aside. Whip the cream in another bowl. Fold in whip cream into mixture. Cover bottom of 9 inch square baking pan with half of the torn angel food cake. Pour strawberry mixture over it. Make another layer with remaining angel …

Mandarin Orange Sherbet Mold

by Mrs. Walter Benz 3 packages of Orange Jello 2 pints of orange sherbet 3 cups of hot water 2 cans of mandarin oranges Mix Jello with hot water. Let set and whip Jello with hand mixer. Add ice cream and mandarin oranges. Mix for about 1 minute until smooth. Pour into molds. Let set in freezer until firm. Serve
